04-30-09 RE.EMALAHA,SHIANDA MISSION - 3 Muslims saved with 17 others in open-air market preach.

Dear Bro.Robert,
Greetings in the Name of Lord Jesus Christ.
I was in Malaha and Shianda markets and things were just alright although I met Three Muslim brothers who were so rebellious but after six hours they gave themselves to Christ and were baptized on 20th April in River Lusumu.I led them to a nearby church called Pefa.They are doing well.
The Lord save seventeen people in these two meetings and I look foward for more challenges and more harvest.Only one problem I have faced is using mouth in preaching it take alot of much pressure.Please if it can be possible to send me the FBF banners,Bullhorn and even pocket Bibles or tracts as many keep on asking for them.
The next trip is Kitale where I have stayed for long and hope to establish FBF there to work in Rift Valley that is Eldoret and Nakuru.

Yesterday we had a time together as the key oversight of the FBF to discuss the plans of starting FBF centre which for the last one week we have been praying God about and we had a clear direction the it is God’s and in the right time to do.So we spent more time to pray during the meeting in the afternoon which was very nice.All the people agreed that we will be doing it every week and on Sundays afternoon unless any special arrangement is put on consideration for the joint work or the need for urgency arises.

Please keep praying for us as we see our people are catching fire and more are showing the interest of joining us which is very wonderful and fruitful before this Kingdom of God.
We are still having our open air preachings with the bull horn and last week we focused high school students praise God when we went to find a chance of getting the word of God to them amazing the teacher concerned of youths just gave us automatic entry date.He admitted that the generation now in high risks are youths and getting people who are concerned to their wellbeing are the preachers like us.His applaud us FBF for the heart and the burden to have for reaching the lost when were there many confessed and repented of their sins, others we cast out demon from the sincere God’s presence is live and active we witnessed.

Please brother thank you so much for introducing this ministry out here in Kisumu were are able to reach the towms of Kisumu Nyanza and it’s outskirts of remote rurals and everytime we are amazed of work God can do these are immesurable and beyond the undersatnding.

I am so much pleased to let you know that your heart for us really amazing to us and i must admit that when i first met you i never knew this kind of passionate love would spring i am so much amazed and that with everyone you communicate with we in Kisumu are your top 2in the list for opportunity and reliability thank you and appreciate highly,please this is just a miracle and would love FBF centre and all it’s mission to carry on further.

Please feel highly welcomed and comfortable we are waging war of victory over hear and no retreat for the devil. I have gone through instruction of how to print out the tracks and it was very interesting so easy have included 4 brothers wise brothers who will be traslating the handouts and the other materials for FBF important ones both in LUO & SWAHILI to be able to help us with spreaching of the gospel and also for the FBF-CENTRE we are hoping to print more as God extend our limitations amen.

In the future we will intend to translate them in to more than 5 languages since Kisumu, Nyanza province has not only Luos but also other tribes.

04-19-09 Niger-Nigeria- Attacked by Muslims
Another Religious Disaster against Christians

Urgent Prayer Request

On Easter Monday that was April 13, 2009, Christian in Niger State of Nigeria in the city of Minna in the northern part of the country had a peaceful match round the city to commemorate the victory of Jesus from the grave in what we know as the Resurrection.

Unknown to them, some people that I termed as terrorist or Islamic jihads descended on them un aware and attacked them killing several hundreds, burned down churches in that city and properties lost is worth hundreds of thousands of Dollars.

There has been similar incidence in two other northern states recently and the brothers and sisters are yet to fully recover as some of them as still in the bush or forest for fear of their lives. Terror groups around the Arabian world fund all these.

Please pray for these families and for the church family in this part of Nigeria where Muslims are always persecuting the Christians. We need much prayers!!

BBC, CNN and other international media houses carried this sad news. We are all affected and we need your prayers at this time. Please forward to friends and others to pray for us.

04-14-09 Agape love begins with forgiveness. Restoration from 30 years!

Dear Robert:

This is probably longer than normal, but I felt like I have so much to say.

I am doing really well. I went to an evangelist church for services on Passover and was overwhelmed. It’s so wonderful that everyone participates and is warm and welcoming. Very unlike the catholic services I attended when I was younger. They did 7 baptisms…one man was 83 years old. It was so special. Everyone cheering and filling the room with so much love. The pastor was wonderful and his sermon very meaningful. Since it was Resurretion Day he focused on resurrection and what we have to look forward to when we die.

Anyway, here is my testimony:

I would like to share some wonderful events that have occurred in my life since meeting Reverend Robert in December 2008.

I have learned that forgiveness is so important. God and Jesus continue to forgive my sins, so I took a huge step and brought my father back into my life after an over 30 year absence. I grew up in a very abusive situation that I have not been willing or able get past. It was so strange to see this old man that I was always so afraid of and now I see him as a very lonely person. Last week I introduced him to my husband of 32 years…who he had never met. I am hopeful that our relationship will continue to grow stronger as we continue to get reacquainted.

I have so much more to be thankful for. Earlier this year I had a scare with breast cancer. I went in for testing and the doctors were not very optomistic. After 3 agonizing weeks of waiting and lots of prayers from my family and friends I received the good news that the tests were benign. I know Jesus was watching over me during this difficult time.

Finally, we are going through the same financial uncertainty so many people are experiencing right now. After having a business that has sustained us for over 25 years we are barely hanging on by our fingertips. Having faith is a great comfort and I know it will help see us through these difficult times.

Anyway, Robert, here are my thoughts. Thank you so much for all your faith, love and prayers. God bless you.

How are you my spiritual father.

I am very pleased how God is moving in Africa, I want to tell you that the devil is lier. God has directed you to work with faithful people who are after the movement of the Gospel. God sent to me brother Pius Amukowa who said that he heard me on the Gospel proclamation at Butere market and now God has started using him, Praise the lord, halelluya!

I want to assure you brother Robert, God has put Africa in your hands as he promised Joshua, wherever you will step your feet I will give that land to be yours. Now you are Joshua of Africa continent, we are going to make sure that the proclamation of the Gospel of Jesus Christ is spreading every where. I want to tell you that we are aware of people who are only after money, but not the gospel. We shall pray that God will reveal them. If their is any money let it be for glory of the living God.

The devil was very angry with me when I was proclaiming the gospel in many places. First I was hit by a motorbicycle, i felled down, but i was not hurt anywhere. One week later, I was attacked by yellow fever terribly. I was admitted for two days but I thank God very much, I am now very well, pray for me that the lord may strengthen me on Gospel proclamation.

We daily praying for you, your family and your good health.

And we are busy in the outreach meetings. Therefore I could not able to mail to you. We are sorry for that.

But you are IN OUR HREATS AND DAILY PRAYERS.

We hope and pray that this letter will bring you safe and sound to you under His loving wings of Jesus.

By the Grace of God and your daily holy prayers God had been using us in different places to bring Glory and Honor to Him by bringing Hindus and idol worshippers towards of Him.

We had 3 days opener meetings and we shared word of God, many are healed physically and spiritually and cast out the demons and among are came to know about living lord Jesus Christ and 4 of them are going to baptized in coming Sunday.

All our orphan children are giving their love, prayers and big hugs to you all. They are going to appear examination soon. So, please pray for them that God may give good Rank in their examination.

And we had prisoner ministry in this week and we shared love of Jesus and gave tracts and John Gospel booklet and some Holy Bibles to them. Please pray that God may speak to them.

And we had worship service among the leper friends. They are physically weak, but spiritually strong in the lord Jesus. They are worshipping and praising with their wounded hands and legs. My heart is broken always for them. They do not have food to eat, no clothes to wear and no shelter to lay their head. But, Praise God that one day Jesus will come for them and to take along with Him and He is going to give glorious bodies to them.

All our fellowship pastors, bible women, aged mothers, orphan children, sewing center women, family and churches are praying for you.

Michele here. Just saw your e-mail, which prompted me to check the internet for news - I hadn’t heard anything with the “sheltered life” I lead :), but was able to look at the CNN home page. We are about 45 minutes from Binghamton, but I was just there yesterday, bringing 5 of the children to a dental clinic! Thank you for praying for us!

We just had a week of powerful meetings with Jerry Mawhorr. I commented to John that he reminded me of you, and he said he had thought the same thing. I mentioned it to Betty Waldner and later that day she called and said that she had been listening to some other of Bro. Jerry’s messages, and what do you know, he mentions his “good friend Robert Ephrata”! I can see why you two would connect. You are both a blessing in bringing forth the Word with power.

It is another wonderful time that the Lord has made that we may chat again as we praise the living God brother. What a cheerful man of God I have made really, praise be to the Lord.

Brother Robert I agree with you big that this is a wonderfull opportunity that our dear lord has given to us that we may walk over the field of the lord and harvest the ailing hearts or sick hearts, mixed hearts and others to the lord for his own glory ; Amen. It is therefore my parayer too my dear brother that we support you to keep the pot boiling until we achieve the goal of our God; Halleluyiah.

This is a wonderful ministry that I cannot manage to avoid brother especially when I went through the photographs on the screen I felt the power and anointing that circulated all the parts you were moving and I felt with full force that I have to support this in Jesus name. it was a wonderfull job if I may repeat.

I was in Butere last week and as I was there I met bishop Harison O. preaching at the open market .To say the truth I was challenged with the vision of presenting Jesus to the public.

I was moved and pressed to start preching in the market place as a result I have preached in six markets in : Kakamega, Webuye, Lugulu, Kitale, Shikunga and Shianda.This I have done with the manual (mouth).I have dicovered that outside there there is a lot of work to be done.People there badly need Jesus as I witnessed that 35 people surrendered to Jesus.It proves of what Apostle Peter did when 3000 people were saved ACTS 2:15-41.

Greetings to you in the holy name of our lord Jesus Christ. Thank you very much for your holy prayer and love for our orphans, aged mothers lepers, fellowship pastors, churches and family. We do daily keeping you, your family, and your church in our daily prayers.

By the Gods Grace and your holy prayers God is leading under His loving wings and taking us to different villages, city, tribal areas, and gypsies to share God??™s Love to them and to bring them into our lord Jesus Christ.

Yesterday we had fellowship ministers gathering in our church and widows (aged mothers) taking free rise and small gift all prayed for our ministry problems, financial problems, prayer request and send much time in the word of God and teaching them in our church and we help a small financial support to each ministers from your funds. These are very committed ministers working in different places and bring lose souls towards Jesus Christ and sharing His love to them. We spend much time in prayer and worship. We prayed for you, your family and your business. Please keep them in your prayers.

And about the outreach and night meeting, we go a remote village or tribal area distribute the tracts, free Bibles (only new testament we have) and John Gospel Booklets in streets, bus station and market places and in night we conduct opener meeting there and share the word of God to them and if any one saved and we attached the new believer to near the church and if there is no pastor there and we place pastor in that area. The meetings are fro the Hindus, idol worshipers, and for believers. And many people got salvation, received Holy Spirit and healed from their sickness, diseases and free from demons and evil spirits. And we do have persecution from Hindus and fanatic groups in that area try t stop us and some time beat us because we are sharing word of God tot them. God is great moving mighty among us.

Sunday we had wonderful service in our churches and we spend much time in prayer and worship. We pray for you, your family and your good health.

03-05-09 One of the Mighty Men in Bungoma/ FBF Open Air Overseer

This is my testimony about the ministry of proclaimation. As I started the ministry of proclaimation,I could not understand fully the ministry for no one could teacsh me about FBF, so I could preach, teach, basingf on my religion. But thatnks be to God for from the day pastor Robert you came I was informed and as I started walking with you from 11th of Feb that was on wednesday 2009 I listened to your teachings as we went by down to town proclaiming the gospel.

On my first day with you we were in Mayanja market I experience God’s Spirit moving and touching the lives of many people and we brought A difference in the market and even to the day of saturday when we were in Uganda is when I was amaized and ashamed to see our director living or departing FBF Team. I was grieved and cryed within my spirit but all the same God did not live us, he was with us as he promised Mathe 28:20. till the day was done.

Surprisingly when he came back to his palce still he harshed his heart and allowed flesh to overcome him by telling us that he does not even want to see us and to hear about FBF, for another white man had called immediately we were in his house and promised more money without knowing that whosoever loved the world God’s love is not in him.

From there to the last day that is I experienced peace. The unity of us for also the bible speakes about Uzziah in Isaih 6:1 God has been uniting us day by day and also keeping our spirit burning for his holy work thatvis before us.

From that day Pastor Robert you left for Kisumu was o Saturday 21th Feb to this time I remember dad you told me about preaching the true gospel that is God’s love and law and also God’s grace and wrath etc.
I was so challenged for I had never preached. Thanks for the t-shirts, bunner and bull horn that you left for us and camerea for God’s mission. Thank you again for being dpatient and endured for that hard time you were with us. I REMEMBER OUR SUFFERINGS ARE FOR JOY, AMEN.

To this time we are preaching the gospel despite of what comes our way. For our battles are not againist and blood, but aginist spiritual wickedness in heavenly places Eph 6:12. We have been invited to Kampala and also maomboleo and some friends within my place, We have now known God’s plan and purpose in the ministry of FBF. Dear brother in the faith,
Thank you so much for visiting our Nation with the great revival message, which the world have been awaiting for many generations despite all of what you encountered its normal for saints brother opposition is always there when you are a true man of God… if they did that to our Lord, what about the servants brother take heart for the Lord is with you and he is faithfull to His word. Yes the alter was defiled by few ministers because of material things they have turned the true gospel into business and it has been so contageous so brother there is a need for one to be sensitive in spirit while ministering in such Nations with leprosy of material things if you are not wise enough you can work with wrong alters for many years because according to the physical we are all Bwana Asifiwe but in the spiritual its after material I hope you would continue going with the eyes opened.

Because of the messes I encountered, the Lord called me to stand in the gap for the true gospel I opened the ministry which started with my children it was like a joke then after six months people started entering and the seventh month the witness (Holyspirit) happened to come, in order to confirm . We are moving on with the ministry and we are now many. Be sensitive in the spirit for this is a wrong hour as you said the seeking for holyness hour… remember Jesus worned of this time that even the elected will get astray according to mathew 24:19-21, Exodus 23:20-30 I can not say much for the witness is with us. Pray for me dear brothers for I dont believe that the children the Lord gave to me should work as maids in order to get fees it has been like a thorn in my flesh for truely if I am serving Him and He is the source what might be the problem or its for the glory of God? or a wilderness stage? for I know if its the end of me then the Lord has to start psalms 68:5-11.
Prayer of many is powerful I pray that you continue growing in the grace of our almighty. Did you get my contact address? I m indeed happy to go through the January February P.L this is the great revival message for the universal church uniting people of different boundaries who were once gathered in the valley of decision without the solution but we are seeing a solution now. 02-02-09 Bro Adam WSU campus

Hey Robert,

I was one of the guys who watched all day on the WSU campus. This e-mail was really affirming for me because Ive been working through a lot of issues with governmental philanthropy, and multiculturalism especially. I really have been trying to express the agape love the most, ive been reading excerpts from C.S. Lewis’ book “the four loves” that really goes over it well and been speaking to me. I even have trouble expressing it to christians much less non-believers and just recently been expressing it more since a friend came back from being in the hospital. No one really knew what happened and those who did know didt tell anyone so alot of people were kept in the dark and it made me realize I really have to get on the ball and love people every chance i get, especially when i dont feel like it.
