12-08-09 Bro Renier reports on South Africa Open Air preach

Greetings Brother Robert!
It was great talking to you last night!

Here is my preach-report for this past weekend: On Saturday brother Ivan and I preached in Stellenbosch. The two of us had a GREAT time of preaching in Stellenbosch this past Saturday. The town was as busy as Downtown Cape Town! There were that many people! Wonderful! Ivan used his waistband-amplifier and I just preached with my voice alone and carried a banner. It was very very hot and the sweat poured down our faces. We haven’t had many one-on-one conversations, but we’ve preached a lot. So much so that my voice was almost gone when we were finished. Sunday (yesterday) was another VERY HOT day! It was even hotter than on Saturday! The summer is truly here at last! The beach was packed with people in the afternoon. I took my banner and headed to the beach once again. When I arrived there I immediately began to preach. A group of children surrounded me and listened to my preaching attentively. One small girl (a muslim!) asked me a few intelligent questions after that. It was amazing to see how the children are attracted to the preaching (Mat 19:14). Further on the beach a guy and two ladies stopped me. The guy said to me that it is great what I’m doing, but he would like to know what I would say to someone if I was asked what precisely must they do to receive salvation. I said that one must repent and believe in the Gospel (Mark 1:15) to be saved. The guy asked me: “What about baptism? Romans 6 talks about the necessity of baptism.” I replied: “I know there are people who teach that you MUST be baptised in order to be saved, but I do not believe that. Yes, baptism is important, but it is not part of your salvation. The moment you receive the Holy Spirit (Romans 8:9) you belong to Jesus and are saved. In fact, Cornelius received the Holy Spirit in Acts 10 even BEFORE he was baptised. He was saved even BEFORE he was baptised. That tells me that baptism is not necessary for one’s salvation.” The guy thanked me for my answer and encouraged me to keep up the preaching. I walked on and continued to preach. One elderly woman walked past me as I was preaching and made the following comment: “Preach it, brother, preach it! I’m praying for you!” It was encouraging to hear that. At one stage a group of rastafarians walked past me and shouted something to me. One of the rastas shouted: “I’m a prophet!” I preached back: “No, you’re a false prophet!” That got him angry! He walked up to me and asked me: “Who are you to judge me? Are you God?” He told him to repent and to follow Jesus. Further down the beach I was approached by a group of young men. They came from the Netherlands and asked me questions about the Bible. They were Roman Catholics. I showed them that if they are Catholics then they are in trouble as they have broken the 2nd commandment of God by making and bowing before images. I told them that there is no such thing as purgatory: “It is either Heaven or Hell when you die!” I quoted Matthew 7:13-14 to back up what I said. As I was speaking to them a number of other people stood around us too to listen to what was being said. I was asked: “How do you know the Bible hasn’t changed as it has been translated so many times?” I answered them: “You see, God is in control. He is Almighty and all-powerful! He is fully able to preserve His Word! He will never allow His Words to become lost or corrupted! He will see to that. So you can rest assured that what you read in the Bible is absolutely reliable and true!” One of the Hollanders mocked me in some of the things he said. One of the bystanders – a Christian man – spoke up for me and rebuked the guy and said: “Hey! You better listen to this man! What he says is true! You may not believe it now, but one day you will find out when it is too late!” After my discussion with these Europeans I gave out some tracts to those who were interested and walked on, preaching to the people lying on the beach: “Attention! Attention! All sun-worshippers! Drunkenness is a sin! Using drugs is a sin! Sleeping around is a sin! Shacking up is a sin! Smoking is a sin! Turn away from your sins and turn to Jesus Christ so that you might escape Hell and go to Heaven!” Three youths (muslims) came up to me and started to ask me a couple of questions. They were joined by an elderly Muslim-man who took the lead in asking me questions. He said that they believe Jesus is a prophet. I said: “Yes, He is a prophet (Deut 18:18), but even more than that … HE is the Son of the Living God Who came to die on the cross for you and for me so that our sins might be washed away!” I could see that he had difficulty to accept what I said about Jesus being the Son of God and so I opened up my Bible to John 10:36 and showed him that Jesus Himself declared Himself to be the Son of God. He did not argue back and listened to me. I then turned my Bible to Proverbs 30:4 and gave him more proof from the Old Testament that God has a Son – Jesus Christ. The muslim then asked me: “What is this about the Old and New Testament? Don’t you have only one book – the Bible?” I said: “Yes, the Bible is the Word of God and it consists of the Old Testament and New Testament. A ‘testament’ is just another word for a ‘covenant’. The Old Testament was originally written to the Jews, but God promised to make a new covenant with His people which came into effect when Jesus came. The New Covenant or New Testament is now for all – both Jew and Gentile – who believe in Jesus.” I emphasized to the muslim that Jesus Christ is the ONLY WAY to God and showed him John 14:6 in my Bible. The muslim asked me: “Is Jesus coming back?” I replied: “Oh yes, the Bible says He will come back on the clouds of heaven and every eye will see Him!” I showed him Revelation 1:7 and chapter 22 verse 12 to back up what I just said. I continued to speak to the muslim about the signs of the times and he listened attentively to all that I said. We talked in a friendly/polite manner with one another. He thanked me after our discussion and I walked on preaching. When I arrived back at the Strand-marketplace … at the start of the beach … I walked through the market and preached. One guy yelled at me: “Is Jesus white or black? Is Jesus white or black?” I ignored him and continued on. I then stood on a corner at one end of the market … where the cars driving by AND the people in the marketplace can still hear and see me. Three young men approached me and stood there for a while and watched me preach. When I took a break they came near and introduced themselves to me. They attend a certain prosperity-gospel church in the Strand. The pastor of that church is divorced-and-remarried. I told the 3 men that that pastor is preaching a false gospel as he is only preaching about money, money, money all the time. I told them that they must beware of riches as riches will choke out any spiritual life that they might have and make them unfruitful (Luke 8:14). They listened to me for a while and thanked me before they walked on. I originally planned to go home at 5pm, but I enjoyed the preach so much that I was reluctant to leave for home. I stayed around until 5:30pm before I headed home. What a day! What a weekend! Praise the LORD!

Your son in faith, ~ Renier

12-08-09 Bro Wilson - Bukura Kenya … a newer Son of Thunder!

Dear the servant The Lord Bro. Robert
Greetings of love and our dear redeemer Jesus Christ. It’s a very
pleasure and wonderful to receive a blessing message from you .I
believe it’s really a divine connection from God, i give thanks
for warm welcomes for me to be the son of thunder and also to be
part of F BF Ministry it’s a time when i have not been checking my
e-mail but i believe that you’ll forgive me and bear with me
because i always take time to check it but because of our
communication I’ll try my best to be in touch.<>as i received this massage that you are the founder of F
BF Ministry it’s when i begun to pray unto you in my fasting &
even every morning in morning devotional time, because i knew that
God has given you a big vision and task that it needs unit of
prayer day and night so that we accomplish the remaining task in
our generation.I will reinforce more in prayer because of your
journey in many countries to proclaim the mighty work of the
kingdom, raising worker in the house of the Lord
<>since i
received the massage of FBFi fasted for 3 days and God gave me the
Revelation how the field is great and workers are few .It cost me
to arrange my programme to preach through out the week from
market to market as from Bukura,Ekiringiri ,Shikulu,Kakamega
,Kwisero,Shianda,Makunga and others. Some of this market places are
very far but God has given me strength to walk in long distances to
proclaim good news of the kingdom <>I was born in a christian family so i
believed in defending my church ,my pastor and church laws and
how can my Church be build.Through the teachings that i had
received i was against anyone who could not support my church i
was even ready to fight someone if he could be against my pastor
of church.Since i became saved i found that defending church or
it’s law is not the solution .The truth is to proclaim the gospel
of the kingdom so that people may repent turn away from their ways
and come to Jesus by tearing their hearts not their cloths because
the kingdom of God is at hand .My testimony is very long that can
even take a day, when i received the F BF massage God opened my
spiritual eyes that we have those who never attend churches but
busy in their own business from Monday to Sunday so nobody cared
about them although they need to know Jesus ,when i came across
this thoughts it’s when i decided to proclaim the Gospel in the
market places although some thought that I’m mad.But through
testimonies that i always receive from different people they bless
my heart.
<>I am married to one wife and has blessed
us with four children,3 are sons and 1 daughter. My first born
is going to class 7 by next year, second born in 5,3rd born in 2
and the fourth one who is the daughter is going to class 1.I give
God thanks for my lovely family. My wife is also saved ,she
supports me in the ministry by teaching the women<>we will continue to pray for that journey to
succeed ,you are mu\ch welcomed in Kenya mostly in Bukura
Eshitari Center to preach the Gospel of the kingdom of the lost
sheep.About contacting brother Ben i will contact Bishop Omusula to
give me direction. If their is any books to read but for the mean time
i will contact the men of God in Bungoma.

About the website i have not yet visited but I’ll
try my best to visit then i will let you know .I appreciate that i
have your photo ,you really look like Jesus Christ disciples ,It
was even different for the Jews to make it.You have surely blessed
my heart and also photo of the seminars in different parts of the
world like Nigeria ,they reveal the truth that you are sacrificed
to the work of God.This picture give out the real true Ministry all
over the nation and this is a big revelation that you were given by
God as the founder.<>> a Priority!

Thanks, Brother Robert,

I have just returned from a two-weeks mission course in Addis Ababa Ethiopia. This has been a rare opportunity I got to interact with leading missionaries serving the Lord esp. those working among Moslems. We had brothers from Djibouti, Somalia, Eritrea, Uganda, Tanzania, Sudan and the host [Ethiopia].

One participant testified to a new development where Moslems are turning to Jesus and still worship in the mosque. He told the story of a Sheikh who came to Christ and now has an outreach to Moslems using the quorun. He is said to tell the Somalis: “Christians have locked up Jesus in the church, let’s invite Him to the mosque.” This workshop opened my eyes to the opportunities we have for reaching the moslems. One thing I commit to is getting a quorun and studying it.

The Lord has now linked me up with Brothers from the countries I have listed above. This will undoubtlessly open ministry doors in these nations. One thing these Christian workers is encouragement and teachings. We need to pray for them and go and create time to go and help them — as well as learn from them. I will be sending a detailed report of what the Lord has both done in me and taught me in the workshop. Ethiopia is on record as the first nation in Africa to receive the gospel. In fact, the OT Ark of the Covenant is kept at a place called AXUM in the Northern part of the country. An exciting tourist site!!

Bless you Brother,

Davidson.

11-26-09 Bro Didi/ DR Congo FBF Goma

Dear Brother Robert,

I was so thrilled to have that wonderful talk on phone yesterday evening.

Indeed, you are for us God’s answer to our evangelism need we have had since 2003 when we officially launched the ministry.

As I told you, we are to plant a reformed and revived, evangelical, spiritually strong church in the Philadelphia church style (Rev.3:7-13) in Goma. For that to take place, “aggressive” evangelism is needed. A Redemption Center is to be planted in each quarter of the City, and Goma is now counting 18 quarters.

By Redemption Center, I mean an evangelism and discipleship center, in which believers of the quarter gather for worships, prayers, bible studies and soul winning works.

So, we need:

1. Trained Evangelists and pastors for such a mission. Now God has gathered around me in this vision 12 men and 10 women committed to evangelism wok in Goma and out of Goma, most of them full time workers.

2. Evangelistic Equipments for individual and mass evangelism.

Then, it will be from Goma that the mission will spread throughout Congo.

Concerning prayer requests, we would like you to pray with us for:

1. Youth evangelism meeting this Sunday 29 November form 14h30 to 16h30.

2. Students youth evangelism on 15th December, that will cost 150 $.

3. Marriage Ministry Evangelism on December 26, that will cost us 350 $.

4. Intern Evangelism Campaign from 28th to 30th December.

We need your prayers. God may mobilize people for the Word; God open hearts for the Word; God provide for finances. May He conduct many in His Kingdom, among youths and married adults. We have no other resource apart from Him.

Glory be to God, as He continues to bind us together in this evangelism mission.

Didi

11-25-09 Bro James–FBF Kisumu Centre/ Nov Mission Report–118 converts… 178 healed to the Glory of God!

Dear Brother Robert,
Love and greetings to you in Jesus Name
Really nice to keep in touch with you once again as we have witness the strong precence of God in all the places the lord has been directing us to reach out to the lost through this month of November. We have our last mission this week for November which starts today at a place called Oyugis this is the road to Migori near Tanzania border.
These are our dates according to how have been proclaiming the gospel:
Our first week of this month from wednesday 4th to 8th we ministered to a place called Kapuonja Daraja Mbili is a community with majority of people in markets and roadside shopping centres. We started our open air proclamation at Kiboswa taking the route short cut to maseno. This place we preach the gospel of a musturd seed and how this can be effective in someones life when he or she confessed Christ as the personal saviour and be part of the Kingdom.
The Holy spirit moved powerfully to few men and women who heard the word and were convicted the came to us and as the Lord Jesus to be in their lives about fifteen cofessed their sin and were saved thirty two were prayed for healing and peace. Then Next day we moved to Nyahera Centre which was very powerful too as we were preaching two men fell infront of us and these men tend to be with demons we command to go and they were free.
Since this place is at chief’s camp the entire system is rural and bush set up where there are a lot of thirst and hunger for the Gospel. When the news spread many sick people came to see God in action as in this bush area many believes in their denomination which leaves majority in a 4wall place with limited understanding of the Gospel so people came in large group and were save by the power of the blood of Jesus.
About 51 were born again 87 healed and 160 uderstood the faith of Jesus. The challege we had was that most of the religious leaders of that area were not pleased with our message as the don’t establish people in the true doctrine of Christ so they were angry with us.After the mission we directed people to our faith in Kapuonja wher we have our repersentetives.
The following week from 11th to 15th we went as a team to Ahero which is in the border of Nyando concituency we went to a large market place of ahero it was really busy but we kept the spirit of proclamation people were listening to the gospel and responded to the conviction of the Holy Spirt. All of us as the team shared the pulpit and call the altar for fire to come down.People who heard the word some just passed by while others listen and were convicted to give their lives to Christ. In this place the lord broght to us many people with sickness and this was how they received the gospel and gave their lives to God.About 67 gave their lives to Christ,91 healed and 260 attended the message from fbf mission.
This week we have a mission and will let you know how we have gone in the battle this is the very rural set up and bush 3hours drive from Kisumu centre wait for great news amen.
Will keep you intouch again soon.
Pastor James.

11-24-09 So Africa FBF, Sis Linda reports on her prison ministry.

Dearest Robert

Hope you got my sms today? My password at work for the past month was “encouragement”…appropriate? So here are 2 stories to encourage you!

The story of Jerome demonstrates that YHWH fulfil His purpose in mysterious ways, far beyond any of our expectations! His Hand is there all the time when the enemy shoots his arrows left, right & centre!

Jerome, almost like King David, planned to murder his wife because he was involved in an adulterous relationship. (Unlike David), he did it himself in April this year in a very brutal way.. Condemnation hit him after his arrest, he wanted to hang himself. He was shaking with fear and remorse, weeping that his wife must come back when I saw him for the first time! I could tell him that Messiah died for “this murder”.

In prison he was convicted of his sin and came to full repentance. The gates of hell did not prevail! His face was shining with peace and freedom when I saw him again. He now knows that he will probably spend the rest of his life in prison. His testimony: “It is where I have to be” When he takes his Bible to read, the 20+ awaiting trial prisoners in the overcrowded cell stop talking. When he finishes reading, he says: “Thank you boys, you can talk!”.

I received this week a letter from Isaac an inmate sharing a cell with Jerome. The message, in simplistic Afrikaans: “Until this day, I do not know the reason why Jerome is in prison. At first, I just watched him, thinking that he does not belong in this place. When I told him that, he said:”Anyone can be in this place”. What is clear to me and the others, is that Jerome takes all his problems to Messiah (“Jesus”) I ask you, for the sake of Jerome, to respond to this letter.”

….so I saw them both a day later. I witnessed a “birth of change” in Isaac, whom I know for years as a habitual “criminal”, his favourite hobby… housebreaking! His record of previous convictions competes with a railway line! I was struck by the fact that through Jerome, Messiah opened a door in prison to reach those who would never consider confessing their sins. By witnessing forgiveness and love where they sleep, eat and talk, Jerome teaches them to open their hearts to one another…and to Messiah. He does not preach to them, but he lives forgiveness and Messiah resurrected!

Louis was 12 years old when he started using drugs. At 16 his parents forbid him their house…he stole at least R400 000,00 worth of stuff from them. He had various cases of theft and drug related crimes against him. He booked himself into a rehab centre where he confessed His sins and turned to Yahshua, our Saviour. He gave his testimony at various venues in Stellenbosch and elsewhere. He qualified about 3 years ago as a CA. His first job application at a well known bank was declined….”because of his past”. The next application at different bank was accepted…”because of his past”! This year he received the reward for the best performance in SA Banking. Back at office, he received a job offer from the bank where he had applied at first….this time, he declined. Besides his yearly bonus, he was awarded a bonus of R750 0000,00.

I have witnessed the Love of our Father in your heart..(for more than 2 years now?!)…for Elohim, your first love, towards the lost; towards His children He entrusted to you for a season/seasons in this life. At times, tender feelings for them may cause you to weep like Messiah over Jerusalem…he wanted to cover them like a hen does with her chickens! Who knows… However, the chickens may be too comfortable under cover, too dependent upon you.. a “break up in communication” could establish an eternal Life Line with Him, in our Master Messiah?

Just last week I told our mediator at court: I need this “sinners” more than they need me! Perhaps, dear brother, you identify…?

Twice, when I asked our Father to show me people through His eyes, He did it instantly….”lost”,,,”lost”,,,”lost!”

I have so much to share, too much for now! Standing with you in prayer,.. I have just opened the Word at random to find a word of encouragement for you, and here it is! Acts 14:22 ..strengthening your being, encouraging you to continue in the belief, and that through many pressures we have to enter the reign of Elohim.

To Him who is able to present us blameless to our Father…the Esteem!

In the Love of Messiah

Linda
