03-31-10 Student needs help on school fees… asks for prayers.

Hi Pastor Robert,
I take this time to greet you believing that all is well with. I want to thank you for the care that you have to me and I believe that God is going to do something in your life.
On my side things are not just well and am stressed without knowing the next step I have to take. It is all about the school. As I told you I have been having fee problems but finally I managed to finish paying the tuition fee. It is only remaining the exam fees which US Dollar 125. Yesterday the guardian told me that he is unable to pay because of the problem he had of sickness.
I know you are so busy and may be this message sounds strange but it my request that if you are just in a position please stand with me as a friend and I know our God will reward bless you. I wish to hear from you and above all I just need your prayers.

03-28-10 Bungoma FBF Centre - Uganda mission report

Hey Bro. Rev Robert! I believe you and other Saints are fine in the
Lord. Last week we travelled to Uganda via Lwakhakha border. Unlike
our Country Kenya where one has to apply for a Permit in advance and
pay a whooping 35 US dollar, in Uganda you are given instantly at a
fee of 8 US dollar!!! You are also given some officers to keep watch
just incase drunkards interfere with your preach, wow!! Our preach
went on well and we had 3 guys repenting and surrendering to Jesus.
The response was good and many people wanted us to tarry around for
some time. But you see,” our Permit indicated that our preaching
began at 11am and was going to end at 4pm, a period of 6 hrs. The
Officer Commanding Station (0CS) suggested that next time we go there
he could give us a permit for 3 days if we so wish, a very good idea
indeed. Brothers and Sisters, some people out there are yearning for
The Word of God. So un-less you and me go for them, they may tend to
think that there are No preachers out there. It is because most
Bishops, Reverends, Pastor and Evangelists (those titles you know) are
Crouding in one place fighting over those already in Churches!
Shame.” Instead of going for Un-saved ones. That is tantamount to
standing behind the back of a fisherman, only to wait for his catch.
Immediately he throws in the basket, you steal and put in your empty
basket! Shame!!! Remember there are people who go to Market places to
buy and sale from Sunday to Saturday. They have No time to go to
church and Nobody to preach to them. Also remember at Market places we
trap those who dodge churches, making them have nowhere to hide.
Although the going is tough, let us brace on…

03-27-10 Bungoma FBF Centre Daughters of Thunder send in a report: ministry to widows & orphans

Greetings Bro. Robert! It s our hope that God is blessing you.  We at Daughters of Thunder are doing well. In the last couple of Months we have been busy paying homage to widows, orphans, the sick in hospitals and in schools. It has been one of the difficult moments as D.0.T, but we thank God for guiding us all along. The first thing we do when we meet is pray that God go before us, because alone we can t make it. We also realise that there are challenges awaiting us! Some widows and orphans are living the kind of life No-one would like to live. They lack basic needs like Food, Shelter, Medicatin and Clothing. We thank God because sometimes manage to give them what we have. You see Bro. Robert, we give God first priority, but now here is a person who has gone without food for some weeks. You can t preach to them and leave them to die. Or a person who is bed-ridden will expect you to give some medication. Barely 3 weeks ago we gathered them together
and ministered to them abit. 0ur aim was to please and make them feel loved… they lack so much. We were able to help them with  - Rice, maize, meat, kales, onions and tomatoes. We also had some drugs (pain-killers) that we gave to those who were not feeling well. Infact we didn t have enough money so we borrowed some from fbf co-ordinator, Bungoma Centre.

So our prayer is that someday God may bring our way a Willing Christian Donor to support us. That way, we will be able to reach and give support where applicable. Please keep us in your prayers. Thank you,
Sis Elizeber and Marolyn, from Bungoma FBF

03-26-10 Bro Ben from Bungoma FBF Centre updates us with a preaching report

Greetings Bro. Robert! How are you today! Hope fine in the Lord. Here are my views on how to strengthen fbf in the year 2010. I have been to various open-air meetings and seen where the short-comings are. All fbf centres from across the Globe must be in touch. This will enable us to know what our colleagues are doing and the difficulties they are under-going so that whenever prayer Request arises we can stand together. Fbf centres should Recruit those ministers who are serious only. Not the so called Lone-rangers and jokers, whose aim is to swindle fbf of the little resources they have. Each Centre should have its offices where fbf items are kept safely to avoid everybody hanging around with fbf property or items being kept in different homes. All fbf Centres should have a bank account and where money is spent there should be proper accountability to avoid mis-use. If possible we should have at-least 2-3 motorbikes (Car or Pick-up) to avoid spending a lot during our travels.

You see Bro. Robert, like in Bungoma you can get a nice car at only 4,000 USD, which can carry up to 8 people, in-stead of spending the same on 3 motor-bikes! Maybe another Brother could be having a different opinion, but as far as i know these are the major articles are be-deviling fbf out-reach ministry. Also Bro remember to be giving out a circular showing how you intend to travel and the activities of each day. This will enable every-one to know where you will be at a particular time. Otherwise brethen every where pray for this Government, for God to do something because we are un-able to preach openly with a lot of ease as we used to. God bless you Bro Robert and we are praying for you everyday, Amen.

Ben, FBF BGM Centre.

03-18-10 Bro Gaby from DR Congo forms an attachment to FBF, with a similar vision.

Dear brother Robert,

Thank you for your response and the great concern of serving the Lord in the Congo. Indeed there is a lot to do for the kingdom of God. Congo has been isolated from the rest of the world for several years during the war which has affected people’s lives in all aspects of life. While serving the Lord in Uganda as a missionary the Lord led it on my heart in 2004 to come to see what was taking place in my home city of Bukavu and the surroundings. By the help of some saints I was able to raise some funds and went to inspect what was taking place on the ground. It was very shocking! We registered hundreds of widows and orphans. In 2006, God opened a door and we were able to distribute some relief to them. From that time we have been praying to God to open more doors to fund the plan that we have made to give them sustainable support (capital seed for widows for income generating activities and orphans education sponsorship program). During the same mission in 2006, I conducted 4 days crusades in two different localities and held a seminar for 3 days at Tente d’Assignation in Bukavu town.

Let me go back a little bit.

In 2002, while in Kampala, the Lord gave me an open vision about my ministry “Healing Grace Mission Ministries”. By then I was already connected to Pastor Felix and were seeking the Lord together for specific instructions He had received from the Lord to resign the previous ministry he was serving with. Then in 2003 the Lord spoke to that He was going to open doors for me to take the gospel to East Africa. In 2004 I went to Congo as I earlier shared it above. In 2005 I started east African missions traveling to different cities and villages in Kenya, Tanzania and Uganda, holding seminars and crusades occasionally.

In 2006, September 5th, the Lord spoke to me that my ministry with Glory to Glory Gospel Ministries has come to an end and that He wanted me to start church. Oh, it was a frustrating message, asking myself questions that seemed difficult to answer: how am I going to leave a ministry I have served for the last 5 years? The relationships I had built, the passion, the diligence I had invested in, the resources and above all, how the saints are going to receive this message? Pastors in the community had testified of us “ as model pastors” who do things in unity and love, serving the common purpose of glorifying the Lord Jesus. So, I took courage and informed pastor Felix. However we kept it a secret while seeking the Lord to give us a way forward. Meanwhile I kept praying asking the Lord to give me the details as how He wants the church to look like. Finally, on 17th Feb. 2009, I was set apart by my spiritual father whom the Lord had recommended to me years back and pastor Felix for the new assignment. So in March last year 2009 I had to travel to Bukavu to explore the land and plant the church. I shared with some people the vision and some felt they were called to carry out the work. We started a fellowship where we meet each Wednesday, Saturday and Friday for overnight prayers. We are praying the Lord to provide the funds to hire a plot whereby we can pinch a tent so that we can start holding our Sunday services.

In brief, God gave me 4 major assignments in the mission:

Win the lost
Praying for the sick (healing mission)
Helping the needy
Taking revival to the entire body of Christ emphasizing holiness and righteousness

As you can see, my heart is burning inside of me for the urging needs in this desperate world. I want to reach out people both in cities and in remote places where even most people don’t want to go. I have a powerful amplifier of 900 watts that can serve for crusades. I believe the Lord will provide us speakers, a mixer, microphones, guitars, video projectors etc. We want to hold seminars for leaders so that we can share with the humble experience that the Lord has given us.

Brother, to be honest, I cannot exhaust all that is on my heart right now. I know that we must go there step by step but something must get started for the time is too short for us!!! Oh! May the Lord hear the cry of our hearts!!!

From the time we met and as I heard Pastor Felix sharing about what you are doing in the kingdom of God, I realized there was a similarity in the vision and therefore there must be a divine reason why we met. You and I might not fully understand it now but surely the Lord Almighty who controls times and seasons will accomplish His purposes through us! I don’t just connect with anybody. By the grace of God I can easily discern a divine connection to me because two people cannot walk together unless they agree (oneness of ideology, partnership, similarity,…)

I will forward you some photos of some of our missions.

Brother, if there is anything I have not made clear, please let me know so that I can clarify. Share with me this scripture which serves as my motto in ministry: Luke 17:7-10.

God bless you in everything you are doing.

Much love in Yeshua,

Brother Gaby.
