12-11-09 FBF preacher, now a Son of THUNDER in Bellingham… a convert!

Thanks for thinking of me ! You will be happy to see my bare walls no pictures !

love ya man,  keep up the good work!      -Bob  Rude

Brother Bob Rude owns a very successful auto repair shop. This is where I have my vehicles serviced. Evangelism took place, and he eventually hung up a get out of HELL FREE card on the office wall… on another visit, he asked if he could keep some on the counter–someone had stolen his card off the wall! WE had many good discussion… and walking with him around his shop one day, I mentioned something about the pictures of naked women on the walls>> that sin was causing many men to stumble. Eventually, the HOLY SPIRIT convicted him, and he removed the posters that had been there for over a decade!

Yesterday… after receiving his email, I stopped by the shop to fill the GET out of HELL cards… and there he was>>> preaching the gospel to a woman and her son in his office! I set a stack of cards in his hand, we hugged… he never stopped preaching to the woman… I walked into the shop to see no posters on the wall! Glory!

The whole shop has taken notice of a dead man… who now walks in the brilliant LIGHT of King Jesus! HE declares his Saviour and KING on a daily basis… as the LORD draws men, women and children to him! As Jesus said: There are those who were last… and now they are FIRST!

ALL GLORY TO JESUS CHRIST for His Resurrection POWER! Yes… DEAD MEN are still being RESURRECTED! FBF/ Sons of Thunder

12-08-09 Bro Renier reports on South Africa Open Air preach

Greetings Brother Robert!
It was great talking to you last night!

Here is my preach-report for this past weekend: On Saturday brother Ivan and I preached in Stellenbosch. The two of us had a GREAT time of preaching in Stellenbosch this past Saturday. The town was as busy as Downtown Cape Town! There were that many people! Wonderful! Ivan used his waistband-amplifier and I just preached with my voice alone and carried a banner. It was very very hot and the sweat poured down our faces. We haven’t had many one-on-one conversations, but we’ve preached a lot. So much so that my voice was almost gone when we were finished. Sunday (yesterday) was another VERY HOT day! It was even hotter than on Saturday! The summer is truly here at last! The beach was packed with people in the afternoon. I took my banner and headed to the beach once again. When I arrived there I immediately began to preach. A group of children surrounded me and listened to my preaching attentively. One small girl (a muslim!) asked me a few intelligent questions after that. It was amazing to see how the children are attracted to the preaching (Mat 19:14). Further on the beach a guy and two ladies stopped me. The guy said to me that it is great what I’m doing, but he would like to know what I would say to someone if I was asked what precisely must they do to receive salvation. I said that one must repent and believe in the Gospel (Mark 1:15) to be saved. The guy asked me: “What about baptism? Romans 6 talks about the necessity of baptism.” I replied: “I know there are people who teach that you MUST be baptised in order to be saved, but I do not believe that. Yes, baptism is important, but it is not part of your salvation. The moment you receive the Holy Spirit (Romans 8:9) you belong to Jesus and are saved. In fact, Cornelius received the Holy Spirit in Acts 10 even BEFORE he was baptised. He was saved even BEFORE he was baptised. That tells me that baptism is not necessary for one’s salvation.” The guy thanked me for my answer and encouraged me to keep up the preaching. I walked on and continued to preach. One elderly woman walked past me as I was preaching and made the following comment: “Preach it, brother, preach it! I’m praying for you!” It was encouraging to hear that. At one stage a group of rastafarians walked past me and shouted something to me. One of the rastas shouted: “I’m a prophet!” I preached back: “No, you’re a false prophet!” That got him angry! He walked up to me and asked me: “Who are you to judge me? Are you God?” He told him to repent and to follow Jesus. Further down the beach I was approached by a group of young men. They came from the Netherlands and asked me questions about the Bible. They were Roman Catholics. I showed them that if they are Catholics then they are in trouble as they have broken the 2nd commandment of God by making and bowing before images. I told them that there is no such thing as purgatory: “It is either Heaven or Hell when you die!” I quoted Matthew 7:13-14 to back up what I said. As I was speaking to them a number of other people stood around us too to listen to what was being said. I was asked: “How do you know the Bible hasn’t changed as it has been translated so many times?” I answered them: “You see, God is in control. He is Almighty and all-powerful! He is fully able to preserve His Word! He will never allow His Words to become lost or corrupted! He will see to that. So you can rest assured that what you read in the Bible is absolutely reliable and true!” One of the Hollanders mocked me in some of the things he said. One of the bystanders – a Christian man – spoke up for me and rebuked the guy and said: “Hey! You better listen to this man! What he says is true! You may not believe it now, but one day you will find out when it is too late!” After my discussion with these Europeans I gave out some tracts to those who were interested and walked on, preaching to the people lying on the beach: “Attention! Attention! All sun-worshippers! Drunkenness is a sin! Using drugs is a sin! Sleeping around is a sin! Shacking up is a sin! Smoking is a sin! Turn away from your sins and turn to Jesus Christ so that you might escape Hell and go to Heaven!” Three youths (muslims) came up to me and started to ask me a couple of questions. They were joined by an elderly Muslim-man who took the lead in asking me questions. He said that they believe Jesus is a prophet. I said: “Yes, He is a prophet (Deut 18:18), but even more than that … HE is the Son of the Living God Who came to die on the cross for you and for me so that our sins might be washed away!” I could see that he had difficulty to accept what I said about Jesus being the Son of God and so I opened up my Bible to John 10:36 and showed him that Jesus Himself declared Himself to be the Son of God. He did not argue back and listened to me. I then turned my Bible to Proverbs 30:4 and gave him more proof from the Old Testament that God has a Son – Jesus Christ. The muslim then asked me: “What is this about the Old and New Testament? Don’t you have only one book – the Bible?” I said: “Yes, the Bible is the Word of God and it consists of the Old Testament and New Testament. A ‘testament’ is just another word for a ‘covenant’. The Old Testament was originally written to the Jews, but God promised to make a new covenant with His people which came into effect when Jesus came. The New Covenant or New Testament is now for all – both Jew and Gentile – who believe in Jesus.” I emphasized to the muslim that Jesus Christ is the ONLY WAY to God and showed him John 14:6 in my Bible. The muslim asked me: “Is Jesus coming back?” I replied: “Oh yes, the Bible says He will come back on the clouds of heaven and every eye will see Him!” I showed him Revelation 1:7 and chapter 22 verse 12 to back up what I just said. I continued to speak to the muslim about the signs of the times and he listened attentively to all that I said. We talked in a friendly/polite manner with one another. He thanked me after our discussion and I walked on preaching. When I arrived back at the Strand-marketplace … at the start of the beach … I walked through the market and preached. One guy yelled at me: “Is Jesus white or black? Is Jesus white or black?” I ignored him and continued on. I then stood on a corner at one end of the market … where the cars driving by AND the people in the marketplace can still hear and see me. Three young men approached me and stood there for a while and watched me preach. When I took a break they came near and introduced themselves to me. They attend a certain prosperity-gospel church in the Strand. The pastor of that church is divorced-and-remarried. I told the 3 men that that pastor is preaching a false gospel as he is only preaching about money, money, money all the time. I told them that they must beware of riches as riches will choke out any spiritual life that they might have and make them unfruitful (Luke 8:14). They listened to me for a while and thanked me before they walked on. I originally planned to go home at 5pm, but I enjoyed the preach so much that I was reluctant to leave for home. I stayed around until 5:30pm before I headed home. What a day! What a weekend! Praise the LORD!

Your son in faith, ~ Renier

12-08-09 Bro Wilson - Bukura Kenya … a newer Son of Thunder!

Dear the servant The Lord Bro. Robert
Greetings of love and our dear redeemer Jesus Christ. It’s a very
pleasure and wonderful to receive a blessing message from you .I
believe it’s really a divine connection from God, i give thanks
for warm welcomes for me to be the son of thunder and also to be
part of F BF Ministry it’s a time when i have not been checking my
e-mail but i believe that you’ll forgive me and bear with me
because i always take time to check it but because of our
communication I’ll try my best to be in touch.<>as i received this massage that you are the founder of F
BF Ministry it’s when i begun to pray unto you in my fasting &
even every morning in morning devotional time, because i knew that
God has given you a big vision and task that it needs unit of
prayer day and night so that we accomplish the remaining task in
our generation.I will reinforce more in prayer because of your
journey in many countries to proclaim the mighty work of the
kingdom, raising worker in the house of the Lord
<>since i
received the massage of FBFi fasted for 3 days and God gave me the
Revelation how the field is great and workers are few .It cost me
to arrange my programme to preach through out the week from
market to market as from Bukura,Ekiringiri ,Shikulu,Kakamega
,Kwisero,Shianda,Makunga and others. Some of this market places are
very far but God has given me strength to walk in long distances to
proclaim good news of the kingdom <>I was born in a christian family so i
believed in defending my church ,my pastor and church laws and
how can my Church be build.Through the teachings that i had
received i was against anyone who could not support my church i
was even ready to fight someone if he could be against my pastor
of church.Since i became saved i found that defending church or
it’s law is not the solution .The truth is to proclaim the gospel
of the kingdom so that people may repent turn away from their ways
and come to Jesus by tearing their hearts not their cloths because
the kingdom of God is at hand .My testimony is very long that can
even take a day, when i received the F BF massage God opened my
spiritual eyes that we have those who never attend churches but
busy in their own business from Monday to Sunday so nobody cared
about them although they need to know Jesus ,when i came across
this thoughts it’s when i decided to proclaim the Gospel in the
market places although some thought that I’m mad.But through
testimonies that i always receive from different people they bless
my heart.
<>I am married to one wife and has blessed
us with four children,3 are sons and 1 daughter. My first born
is going to class 7 by next year, second born in 5,3rd born in 2
and the fourth one who is the daughter is going to class 1.I give
God thanks for my lovely family. My wife is also saved ,she
supports me in the ministry by teaching the women<>we will continue to pray for that journey to
succeed ,you are mu\ch welcomed in Kenya mostly in Bukura
Eshitari Center to preach the Gospel of the kingdom of the lost
sheep.About contacting brother Ben i will contact Bishop Omusula to
give me direction. If their is any books to read but for the mean time
i will contact the men of God in Bungoma.

About the website i have not yet visited but I’ll
try my best to visit then i will let you know .I appreciate that i
have your photo ,you really look like Jesus Christ disciples ,It
was even different for the Jews to make it.You have surely blessed
my heart and also photo of the seminars in different parts of the
world like Nigeria ,they reveal the truth that you are sacrificed
to the work of God.This picture give out the real true Ministry all
over the nation and this is a big revelation that you were given by
God as the founder.<>> a Priority!

Thanks, Brother Robert,

I have just returned from a two-weeks mission course in Addis Ababa Ethiopia. This has been a rare opportunity I got to interact with leading missionaries serving the Lord esp. those working among Moslems. We had brothers from Djibouti, Somalia, Eritrea, Uganda, Tanzania, Sudan and the host [Ethiopia].

One participant testified to a new development where Moslems are turning to Jesus and still worship in the mosque. He told the story of a Sheikh who came to Christ and now has an outreach to Moslems using the quorun. He is said to tell the Somalis: “Christians have locked up Jesus in the church, let’s invite Him to the mosque.” This workshop opened my eyes to the opportunities we have for reaching the moslems. One thing I commit to is getting a quorun and studying it.

The Lord has now linked me up with Brothers from the countries I have listed above. This will undoubtlessly open ministry doors in these nations. One thing these Christian workers is encouragement and teachings. We need to pray for them and go and create time to go and help them — as well as learn from them. I will be sending a detailed report of what the Lord has both done in me and taught me in the workshop. Ethiopia is on record as the first nation in Africa to receive the gospel. In fact, the OT Ark of the Covenant is kept at a place called AXUM in the Northern part of the country. An exciting tourist site!!

Bless you Brother,

Davidson.

11-26-09 Bro Didi/ DR Congo FBF Goma

Dear Brother Robert,

I was so thrilled to have that wonderful talk on phone yesterday evening.

Indeed, you are for us God’s answer to our evangelism need we have had since 2003 when we officially launched the ministry.

As I told you, we are to plant a reformed and revived, evangelical, spiritually strong church in the Philadelphia church style (Rev.3:7-13) in Goma. For that to take place, “aggressive” evangelism is needed. A Redemption Center is to be planted in each quarter of the City, and Goma is now counting 18 quarters.

By Redemption Center, I mean an evangelism and discipleship center, in which believers of the quarter gather for worships, prayers, bible studies and soul winning works.

So, we need:

1. Trained Evangelists and pastors for such a mission. Now God has gathered around me in this vision 12 men and 10 women committed to evangelism wok in Goma and out of Goma, most of them full time workers.

2. Evangelistic Equipments for individual and mass evangelism.

Then, it will be from Goma that the mission will spread throughout Congo.

Concerning prayer requests, we would like you to pray with us for:

1. Youth evangelism meeting this Sunday 29 November form 14h30 to 16h30.

2. Students youth evangelism on 15th December, that will cost 150 $.

3. Marriage Ministry Evangelism on December 26, that will cost us 350 $.

4. Intern Evangelism Campaign from 28th to 30th December.

We need your prayers. God may mobilize people for the Word; God open hearts for the Word; God provide for finances. May He conduct many in His Kingdom, among youths and married adults. We have no other resource apart from Him.

Glory be to God, as He continues to bind us together in this evangelism mission.

Didi

11-25-09 Bro James–FBF Kisumu Centre/ Nov Mission Report–118 converts… 178 healed to the Glory of God!

Dear Brother Robert,
Love and greetings to you in Jesus Name
Really nice to keep in touch with you once again as we have witness the strong precence of God in all the places the lord has been directing us to reach out to the lost through this month of November. We have our last mission this week for November which starts today at a place called Oyugis this is the road to Migori near Tanzania border.
These are our dates according to how have been proclaiming the gospel:
Our first week of this month from wednesday 4th to 8th we ministered to a place called Kapuonja Daraja Mbili is a community with majority of people in markets and roadside shopping centres. We started our open air proclamation at Kiboswa taking the route short cut to maseno. This place we preach the gospel of a musturd seed and how this can be effective in someones life when he or she confessed Christ as the personal saviour and be part of the Kingdom.
The Holy spirit moved powerfully to few men and women who heard the word and were convicted the came to us and as the Lord Jesus to be in their lives about fifteen cofessed their sin and were saved thirty two were prayed for healing and peace. Then Next day we moved to Nyahera Centre which was very powerful too as we were preaching two men fell infront of us and these men tend to be with demons we command to go and they were free.
Since this place is at chief’s camp the entire system is rural and bush set up where there are a lot of thirst and hunger for the Gospel. When the news spread many sick people came to see God in action as in this bush area many believes in their denomination which leaves majority in a 4wall place with limited understanding of the Gospel so people came in large group and were save by the power of the blood of Jesus.
About 51 were born again 87 healed and 160 uderstood the faith of Jesus. The challege we had was that most of the religious leaders of that area were not pleased with our message as the don’t establish people in the true doctrine of Christ so they were angry with us.After the mission we directed people to our faith in Kapuonja wher we have our repersentetives.
The following week from 11th to 15th we went as a team to Ahero which is in the border of Nyando concituency we went to a large market place of ahero it was really busy but we kept the spirit of proclamation people were listening to the gospel and responded to the conviction of the Holy Spirt. All of us as the team shared the pulpit and call the altar for fire to come down.People who heard the word some just passed by while others listen and were convicted to give their lives to Christ. In this place the lord broght to us many people with sickness and this was how they received the gospel and gave their lives to God.About 67 gave their lives to Christ,91 healed and 260 attended the message from fbf mission.
This week we have a mission and will let you know how we have gone in the battle this is the very rural set up and bush 3hours drive from Kisumu centre wait for great news amen.
Will keep you intouch again soon.
Pastor James.

11-24-09 So Africa FBF, Sis Linda reports on her prison ministry.

Dearest Robert

Hope you got my sms today? My password at work for the past month was “encouragement”…appropriate? So here are 2 stories to encourage you!

The story of Jerome demonstrates that YHWH fulfil His purpose in mysterious ways, far beyond any of our expectations! His Hand is there all the time when the enemy shoots his arrows left, right & centre!

Jerome, almost like King David, planned to murder his wife because he was involved in an adulterous relationship. (Unlike David), he did it himself in April this year in a very brutal way.. Condemnation hit him after his arrest, he wanted to hang himself. He was shaking with fear and remorse, weeping that his wife must come back when I saw him for the first time! I could tell him that Messiah died for “this murder”.

In prison he was convicted of his sin and came to full repentance. The gates of hell did not prevail! His face was shining with peace and freedom when I saw him again. He now knows that he will probably spend the rest of his life in prison. His testimony: “It is where I have to be” When he takes his Bible to read, the 20+ awaiting trial prisoners in the overcrowded cell stop talking. When he finishes reading, he says: “Thank you boys, you can talk!”.

I received this week a letter from Isaac an inmate sharing a cell with Jerome. The message, in simplistic Afrikaans: “Until this day, I do not know the reason why Jerome is in prison. At first, I just watched him, thinking that he does not belong in this place. When I told him that, he said:”Anyone can be in this place”. What is clear to me and the others, is that Jerome takes all his problems to Messiah (“Jesus”) I ask you, for the sake of Jerome, to respond to this letter.”

….so I saw them both a day later. I witnessed a “birth of change” in Isaac, whom I know for years as a habitual “criminal”, his favourite hobby… housebreaking! His record of previous convictions competes with a railway line! I was struck by the fact that through Jerome, Messiah opened a door in prison to reach those who would never consider confessing their sins. By witnessing forgiveness and love where they sleep, eat and talk, Jerome teaches them to open their hearts to one another…and to Messiah. He does not preach to them, but he lives forgiveness and Messiah resurrected!

Louis was 12 years old when he started using drugs. At 16 his parents forbid him their house…he stole at least R400 000,00 worth of stuff from them. He had various cases of theft and drug related crimes against him. He booked himself into a rehab centre where he confessed His sins and turned to Yahshua, our Saviour. He gave his testimony at various venues in Stellenbosch and elsewhere. He qualified about 3 years ago as a CA. His first job application at a well known bank was declined….”because of his past”. The next application at different bank was accepted…”because of his past”! This year he received the reward for the best performance in SA Banking. Back at office, he received a job offer from the bank where he had applied at first….this time, he declined. Besides his yearly bonus, he was awarded a bonus of R750 0000,00.

I have witnessed the Love of our Father in your heart..(for more than 2 years now?!)…for Elohim, your first love, towards the lost; towards His children He entrusted to you for a season/seasons in this life. At times, tender feelings for them may cause you to weep like Messiah over Jerusalem…he wanted to cover them like a hen does with her chickens! Who knows… However, the chickens may be too comfortable under cover, too dependent upon you.. a “break up in communication” could establish an eternal Life Line with Him, in our Master Messiah?

Just last week I told our mediator at court: I need this “sinners” more than they need me! Perhaps, dear brother, you identify…?

Twice, when I asked our Father to show me people through His eyes, He did it instantly….”lost”,,,”lost”,,,”lost!”

I have so much to share, too much for now! Standing with you in prayer,.. I have just opened the Word at random to find a word of encouragement for you, and here it is! Acts 14:22 ..strengthening your being, encouraging you to continue in the belief, and that through many pressures we have to enter the reign of Elohim.

To Him who is able to present us blameless to our Father…the Esteem!

In the Love of Messiah

Linda

11-03-09 4 religious pastors reject past, and receive FBF Proclamation

Greetings Rev. Bro. Robert! Once more i salute you in the name of
Jesus. We at fbf Bungoma centre have had a week full of activities but
God has enabled us go through triumphantly. On saturday 31st of
october, we left Bungoma for a town in the Rift-valley called Lugari.
As usual we introduced ourselves and the first preacher took the
stage. Though we were tired because of bumpy road that leads to the
place,” that did not stop us from proclaiming the gospel. As i went
round the market i noticed that there were four guys seated at a
strategic point in collars. I realised they were pastors and that gave
me even more strength and i ekked on. The turn-out was encouraging
because most people in this area were not used to this kind of
preaching. So as we were rolling our banners after preach, these
pastors approached us and one of them congratulated us for message.
What followed was their request that we pray for them to God to
forgive them for having been fooled by their relion in believing that
they could only enter heaven through the positions they held in
church!!! They invited us in the home of one of them where we found
another group waiting for us because word had gone round fast like a
burning bush that we were going to pray for them right in their homes!
After a short session of question and answers, i would not believe my
ears when i heard one after the other inquiring whether they were
allowed to join fbf! All these took place in the house of pst.
Wicliffe W, and his welcoming wife sister Damarys. The other
three pastors were, Joseph W, Bonventure M and Patrick
W. They have promised to go into private institutions, primary
and secondary schools, market places and even in the streets
proclaiming the gospel of repentance and forgiveness. Remember these
are areas that were hit by tribal clashes and that is why we put them
on our schedule. So Brothers and Sisters, i request you to pray with
us. God bless Rev. Robert and FBF ~ Pst. Ben FBF W-Kenya

10-23-09 Pastor/ Evangelist in FBF DR Congo gets the vision!

Greetings Man of God,

I am so much excited to read your mail.

Excited to hear that we are on the same page as far as our mission scripture is concerned.

Excited about our FBF motto, since we are committed to God and His word only - God-centered and Word-centered.

Excited about the love/agape of the Word since we believe in the Word saturation daily;

Excided about holy living, HOLINESS, which is what we mean by DEMONSTRATING the redemption; a lifestyle free of sin, ago, world, and satan; briefly said demonstrating the image and the likeness of God.

Excited about the report from the FBF Nigeria; that is what we have been expecting; have the team trained in proclaiming the Gospel in public places everyday, and hence have all the City of Goma turned into a REDEMPTION CITY. Yes, it is possible to have Goma converted to Christ and hence establish a Godly Church of Christ in Goma; strong, evangelical, reformed and revived.
People are tired of hearing these HAPPINESS minus HOLINESS preachings and teachings. Worldly-centered preachings.

Therefore, I am ready to get along with you!

Call when you get the time.

May God prosper your ministry.

Yours in the Gospel Proclamation,

Bro Didi

10-21-09 Pastor from Tulumba

Dear my spiritual father ROBERT EPHRATA

I see the Lord doing amazing things through your life. He is going to make a way where there seems to be no way. You will be like a funnel of wealth to your people. He is multiplying the ministry he has placed in your hands. Watch and see over the next few months the things God opens up for you. You will be amazed

I just realized we have been in prayers and fasting for your ministry, you feel so small, but you know our God is so big and can meet every need. you must get to Bungoma. you love to pray, but you heart is to touch the Tulumba church and bless them. I believe it is Africa’s time to shine brightly in spite of the hardship.

In His Grasp,

10-14-09 Bro Wilson reports on people being saved, and miracles!

Dear Pastor Ephrata,

Get much greetings in our dear redeemer Jesus Christ. thank you very much for the divine connection to Rev.Harrison Omusula, he shared with me a very wonderful vision. he told me that you are the founder of this vision, that we have many people go in their own business especially in the market who don’t attend churches. When I meditated the vision I found it was realy very clear and true. thank you for the way you sacrificed, upto God to give you this wonderful vision. Since I received this vision I really have devotion to the work of God and peace in my heart, because I was just waiting for only sundays to attend church and thats where I could only proclaim the gospel but nowadays , I can do It everyday at the market place as I was in a place of market called shikulu market.

I saw God revealing himself through many miracles because I met someone who had taked a loan to start his business but the money got lost , so he wanted to hang himself but when I was preaching he came near and then he discovered that satan is a liar , he is used to steal our belongings so that we may be discouraged then he decided to follow Jesus christ. He surrendered his life to Jesus and othe many miracles that I can not explain.

As I see all of these happen, I experience Gods love and your devotion of prayer unto us when yu are there and this is why many people are being reached with the gospel, so I need more training materials for my spiritual growth to my mailing address.

I have known the truth and the Truth has set me free. So pray with me for the ministry to succeed and I also pray for you always.

yours brother in Christ,

Wilson M.

10-12-09 FBF India checks in; update

Greetings Bro ROBERT EPHRATA !

Greetings to you in the Holy name of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Thank you very much for your holy prayers and support for us in the time of devastating. Many people lose their houses, lands and beloved once. Thankful to Lord Jesus who kept us in His loving wings in the time of trouble.

We praise God for the wonderful ministry work in Nigeria and we have been praying for the more anointing of Holy Ghost over Nigeria people in your visit.

Yes, I am with your words. The angry of God or curse is on us due to the Idolatry and going away from the living Lord Jesus Christ. Here all idol worshipper eyes are blind and they are again going to the idol and worshipping it. I am asking to them and requesting them to turn away from the idols so that we have blessing from God. I believe that God is changing the mind set of these idol worshippers. Thank you very much for your prayer for our land and people in India.

And I will always be with you in the vineyard of God saving losing souls toward Jesus Christ. It is our prayer and hopes that soon, you will be with us in India and see you face to face.

YOU ARE IN OUR HEARTS AND DAILY PRAYERS.

All our orphan children, aged mothers, fellowship pastors, Bible women, leper brother and churches and family sending their love and big hugs to you, your family and brother and sister in USA.

Prayerfully looking forward for your prayerful mail.

The project is on. Our team is going for medical camp to dis-inflect villages where many people dead and without any help – very strong phenomena and people in very pathetic condition and very urgent needs. 09-08-09   Dear Brother and sister from the NW

To our brother Robert,
A quick note of encouragement, with our prayers for a fruitful mission trip
this month!

Thank you for con’t prayer for our youngest, Jo. Her court hearing was an answer to prayer. The Judge clearly spoke Wisdom from the HS. Since then,
it’s been trial by fire for her, as her husband is enraged yet afraid. We will be seeing her again tomorrow (altho she is now back teaching).

The Word of YHWH you shared was powerful & revealing. YHWH is Awesome, …dwelling in unapproachable Light. This brought a new perspective on prayer to our King, enthroned.
May His Word again become flesh in His own, who believe & cling to Him.
Looking for that blessed hope & glorious appearing,
Chuck & Diane

09-07-09   FBF Bungoma Coordinator speaks of conversions

Greetings Bro. Robert! I thank God because of the response or the so
called turn-up in those areas we go. It is mere truth that at first
people would be astonished to come across to pump into 3 or 4 guys
preaching in the open without huge speakers erected on the roof tops.
They would conclude that maybe these guys have gone berserk. But after
listening to the message their hearts burn and realize that something
must be done. A fortnight ago my team and i went out to preach as
usual!!! Little did we know that 2 chaps were going to give their
lives to Jesus. I was the first to take the stage and as i was going
round the market after preach, 2 guys approached me and told me that
they wanted to receive Jesus. One guy told me that he was a smoker and
that he had on several occasions tried to stop but to no avail! The
other guy was alcoholic and just like the former,” he had tried to do
without beer but he just end-up drinking himself silly. I first led
them in salvation prayer, then advised them on the steps they must
take and finally we prayed together. Right now they are doing well and
they both stoped smoking and drinking respectively”, praise be to
God. So FBF is spreading the Gospel in a unique, special and
unprecedented way. God bless FBF, God bless the founder… Rev Robert
Ephrata, Amen ~ Ben

09-05-09    Prayer warrior and Pastor continues to uphold FBF

Bwana asifiwe sana dad Robert,

God is our source of supply, and He really stands by those who honor Him and
His mighty works toward mankind.

Thank you for the work that FBF is doing in Kisumu.

We read of how the widow woman in Elijah’s day was in a horrible situation.
She was ready to use her last bit of meal and oil to make a cake for her and
her son and then starve to death. As Elijah requested the widow water and a small bread so we thank God He is using you mightyly to feed many people the word of God. We thank you Dad Robert for your teachings. I, and my family we are praying for you that we shall keep our secrets. We are waiting for you dad on the situation I told you earlier. When we have a dad like you, we don’t feel lonely.

Elijah, busy doing God’s work, came to her and asked if she would bake a
cake for him first. This was not a selfish request. No, Elijah was putting
her in the position to be blessed of God, and blessed she was. First Kings
17:14 says, “For thus saith the LORD God of Israel, The barrel of meal shall
not waste, neither shall the cruse of oil fail, until the day that the LORD
sendeth rain upon the earth.” Isn’t God good! What seemed like a no-win
situation turned out to be a wonderful blessing from the Lord.

I am lifting any request you may have up to the throne, and I know that God
will help and bless you in all ways needed. Keep your eyes upon the Lord
and trust Him to make the way for you and yours.

God is always on time. It may not seem like He’s on time to the natural
man, but faith tells us that He is. Faith tells us to put our complete
trust in the promises and wait patiently on Him.

Thank you dad.

We hope to hear from you.

Isaac & Eunice.

09-03-09 Conversions-Healings &c continues in Kisumu/ Nyanza Province!
This report is from last 5 days of August, after coming in from the field

Dear Brother Robert,

Greetings!

Praise the Lord!

It is my privileged to take this opportunity update you on the progress of the FBF missions over here in Kisumu and regional environs of Nyanza province which stretches wide from north of Lake Victoria near Uganda border to south of lake Victoria of Tanzania borders. For the last three months i have been able to work with my FBF team partially but the team have been fully implementing the vision for the gospel and the Kingdom in open air preaching’s and equipping the reliable ones with training of good teaching doctrines from brother Robert which contain deep revelations… from the simplicity of Christ Jesus… and the book of Acts.

It’s our passion and priviledge to see Jesus the only son of God slained and resurrected being lifted high amongst the nations of the earth.

I have been partially looking after my wife who had a baby and after the delivery got complication we have see the hand of the lord manifested through this dangerous situation which God Himself intervene and not human ability thank you so much for your prayers the saints of the Lord.

We had our main missions this month of reaching out at Kano from 19th to 24th/08/2009 which was very powerful have some pictures to paste down. Let’s go step by step according to the dates this is how the lord moved in the mission:

19th/08/2009 this was our day of arrival at the venue in the afternoon which by 2pm all our team had arrived. We took some time to pray for the spirit of unity as we declare the areas of Kano for Jesus. After prayers we had a team of ten and these were split in to two to cover the market places and the whole area Kano. These teams one went through streets and the other went through market places which we really saw the hand of the lord 10 people received Christ and 41 got healing and answers from the lord by their testimonies.

The mission ended at 7 pm and the teams assembled back at one place i had a woman who came back with us after seeing God’s hands:

“what the lord has done to me in marvellous i have lost my son for 10years and when i had FBF preaching about Faith i came and fell down to be prayed for and after prayer 5minutes i had a call from far that he is alive and lives with aucle who lives in the remote places who there is barrier in communication praise the Lord i am now free!”

20th and 21st we also saw God doing an amazing work by setting more people free about 90 pagans are now converted to Christ and are serving the Lord 158 received healing! This one preach started from morning at 9am till 5:30pm evening a marathon preaching place by place and God’s miracle taking place.

22nd We called all who we ministered to plus the religious leaders to come and hear the biblical foundation of truth to training them and reveal what God has in store for them in that area. Really God poured His powerful touch and people need Jesus more and afresh Glory to God for Hid work. Two religious bishops accepted they have not been walking with Jesus message of the cross and Holiness so we prayed for them and restored them back in the faith now FBF members.

Sorry power has gone off –will mail later in the evenings.

Thank you so much for the gift … it serves our ten preachers and FBF MISSIONS.

Pastor James S

09-03-09 Daughters of Thunder are moving in Kenya!

Praise God Brother Robert! We are going on with our visitation well.
Atleast we now have about 25 families that we have talked to. We are
encouraging counseling those with AIDS and praying with the widow,
orphans and the sick. Very soon we want to gather them together and
have them eat enjoy lunch together. Just to make them feel that they
are loved. Also we are trying our best to take some pain killers such
as paracetamol tabs to the sick. Those who did not know salvation
before and now are saved, we disciple them just to ensure that they do
not back slide again. We believe that with God everything is possible.
Pray for us and we can succeed in Jesus name, Amen ~ Sis Marolyn.

Halleluyah! Just a short message to let you know that i got the shipment. Otherwise i greeted bro. Harrison and
George for you today afternoon my time and both were pleased.
Proclamation is getting on well, though as you know some people who
come to us after you direct them find it difficult going with us to
preach. As you know most people would like to be lone-rangers, others
come to us with an aim of having us build them churches, put up
orphanages and even schools! But after educating them on what FBF is
all about, some dis-appear while those trully called by God accompany
us to preach. Together we make it clear to people that the kingdom of
God is at hand and they must repent. We pray for you every day and we
believe that God who started something good in you– is faithful even to
accomplish it, Amen ~ Ben

08-29-09 FBF Most Productive Elder and Preacher… has 4 Open-Air Teams

Dear, the servant of the most high God Bro Robert,
I was very happy to hear from you. It has been a long time without communication due to commitments to the work of FBF Ministry, travelling from here
and there in several market places like Mt. Elgon, West Pokot, Ugunja and others near my area. I was very happy when i read the published news letter
how the work of God is expanding unto India, America, South Africa and even
here in Kenya at Kisumu Area. This is a command from our Lord Jesus Christ
to preach up to the end.<> I had worked with him for three market places, but since there i have never seen him again, although i can not judge him because he is not there, but whenever i will meet him i shall inform you.<>i give thanks for the Lord that he has supplied many tools for evangelism because they are very much needed, since i had alreadyseparated the groups into four groups in different areas so we need every
group to have its banner, bull horns and each group if possible to have 5 t-shirts which is 3 banners, 3 bull horns and 20 T-shirts.<> No i dont have <> the big need is that i have in the ministry is that we always walk for along distance from market to market up to feets to be swollen. This is as a result
of financial problem so i ever pray for God’s breakthrough to open the
way and meet other difficulties of even starving when preaching. Since you
left Kenya you are always in my heart and in my prayer i am ever praying
that through you nations and people groups may receive the gospel of Jesus
Christ as it is written in Mt 24:14. You are the Abraham of today same as Joshua of today and through you nations will receive the gopel and you will

remain in my prayers halleluyah.

Be blessed.Yours in Christ,Bro Harrison

08-20-09 FBF Brethren in East Uganda

Hello Brother Robert Ephrata.

Dear brother,

God is a faithful God and blesses the works of every diligent heart. May I therefore encourage you to remain steadfast as you pursue the fulfillment of His glorious calling in your life. Live unto that!

FBF shows a picture of flowing river to Eastern Uganda. Like the picture God showed to (Ezekiel 47:1-12) was of the Temple of God, its ordinances and design, and a river flowing from it. God spoke to Ezekiel and showed him that this was a river of life flowing from God down to Dead Sea into putrid waters. This river would heal the waters and make them a live. The scripture in chapter 47 of Ezekiel says that this river started out as a small stream as it came out from under the temple, but then it progressively became deeper and deeper until it eventually emptied into the Dead sea. As it did, the sea became alive with life.

The sea in the Bible normally stands for the sea of lost humanity. God was showing Ezekiel that the only way that dead people could live, would be touched by God through something called a river that was to flow from His very presence. John 7:38 says, “He who believes on me, as the scripture has said out of belly shall flow rivers of living water.”

A bit about my desires, is to seek first the kingdom of God, His wisdom, study His word all the time, win the lost souls to Christ, to be faithfully in His work, grow together with the believes and had everything in common.

Beloved, for all your labour in the Lord, for all you toils and all your perseverance in serving the Lord, thank you. May you never cease to remember that your labour in the Lord is not in vain (Galatians 6:7-10) and may our precious Lord and Savior richly and graciously bless you continually sholom!

In faith we are wishing you all the best and put you in prayer. Welcome to Eastern Uganda next year February 2010 we are already for you on God’s work.

Yours in Christ,

Wachana B

EXPOSITION OF MATT 5.48

KISUMU MISSION REPORT OF ON GOING REVIVAL & VID’S

PRAYER ROOM REQUESTS

~ Matt 5.48 An Exposition ~

Be PERFECT…!

Wow! Now here is a real subject for discussion! And… how many times do we hear this from so many who profess Christ? “Well—Nobody’s Perfect!”… or “ You’re not perfect yet!

Such is our topic in this portion as we close out chapter 5 of this Great Sermon on the Mount… What did Jesus Christ mean when He ‘commanded’ ALL His disciples to ‘Be Perfect… even as your Heavenly Father is Perfect?’ Certainly this will challenge many, and edify the majority. That is our hope anyway. Of course we give you this biblical disclaimer for ALL our publishing: Acts 17.11, 1 Thess 5.20-22… and Rom 12.2,9. WE at FBF will always rest upon the authority of Scripture in the Original Languages of Hebrew & Greek. We have nothing else. That was YHWH God’s choice.

Matt 4.4; 12.38

The best, first place to start is to look at the word ‘perfect’ itself and build from there. The word ‘perfect’ is used 108 times in the Bible and it would be good to gain a conviction on the use of this word.

The Koine Greek word is = teleioi is used 30 times in the New Testament with various moods and tenses… and the same meaning. (teleioi, teleioo, teleiotes)

The context and meaning—by way of a negative example—is NOT one that performs a gymnast routine well… and is given a grade! Far from it! Perfection in executing a deed or task is NOT the issue here.

What Jesus is saying here is in reference to the portion of ‘teaching’ that He has just given in His sermon… indicating that these teachings—if followed—will produce ‘maturity—completeness—fruitfulness— ….and fulfillment in doing the best with the capacity an individual possesses. Literally in the Greek, from the root telos = end, goal, limit, blameless!

In perspective to Matt 5.48, Jesus is saying in effect: “Here is the goal that has been set before you in Chapter 5 with the Beatitudes and all the rest… this is the absolute standard of our Heavenly Father. With all the promises, The Atonement, the Holy Spirit, Grace and Mercy new every morning… every true convert can live up to this standard at their capacity…, in blamelessly doing your best before the Father… for that is how your heavenly Father does things for you… He does the best that He can, at full pitch—nothing held back!”

With this short introduction, it is possible to see that Jesus is speaking more of ‘heart attitude coupled with obedience’ than anything else. The Kingdom of God comes 1st in the Heart Attitude!

We shall give an example and then follow up with a couple of scriptures to back up this usage. (We recommend using a concordance and reading all the NT scriptures for # 5046, 5047, 5048… these will further clarify this definition and carry your conscience into ‘the biblical use’ of this word from this time on.

Many words (ex: love, single, quiet, patience, beginning, &c.) that we use today have attached ‘traditional English’ or contemporary meanings which, may in fact have very different usages other than that of the biblical use of the word… two thousand years ago! As good disciples and students, it is up to each of us to ‘study to show ourselves approved unto God!’ Amen. 2 Tim 2.15-16

Illustration 1

A father sitting in his chair, reading his afternoon newspaper asks the children in the room for a glass of water. Of all the children, the youngest one runs to please his father, and gets a stole to stand on, fills a glass to the brim with water… and gets off the stole, and as carefully as he can (at 3 years old) he takes the glass to his father… spilling it most the way.

The father, seeing who has brought the water, thanks the young man and says you did a great (perfect) job! Thank you my son!

Had it been one of the older children… the response would NOT have been met with reward and approving good cheer! Why? Because they have a much greater capacity to serve without spilling!

Additionally, there are those who perform a task very well… but their heart attitude is far from the subject… they serve without respect or reverence to others… this is also a problem. It is the LORD himself, Who has set these things (the Beatitudes and all of Cht. 5 etc) before us all within the Sermon on the Mount—that clearly points out that heart attitude, coupled with the actions of obedience is needful for entry into the Kingdom of God! Those who have been given much… much is required! Those who knew not have a few lashes… but those who know more and disobey get MANY lashes. This applies to the use of our mouths too! (Luke 12.47-48)

They draw near to me with their lips… but with their hearts, they are far from Me. Mark 7.6

All of these teachings point to the One Central Theme of All Jesus’ teaching: “Love-agape the LORD with ALL of your heart, ALL soul, All of your strength… and ALL of your mind!”

Yes… the 1st Great Commandment teaches 1st love-agape… Always! That’s what’s known as HOLINESS AS UNTO THE LORD!

THAT>>> is Perfect LOVE-AGAPE! That is the Image of God our Father in His Children! 1 Jn 3.10-11 If you obey these things… there will be a definite change in your life… and everyone will be very aware of it! Light will divide darkness… but darkness has NEVER chased away the Light! Amen.

Yes… Agape LOVE and mercy will always be EVIDENT with the Practice of Perfection in Christ. There is no perfection apart from the Agape and Checed-Mercy of God! It is born in His Righteousness!

There are many would-be imitators of His power, independence, justice &c., but few of HIS Agape-LOVE, condescension… and kindness. Luke 6.35-36

By the scriptures, YHWH God calls Himself LOVE-AGAPE… to teach us that in this—consists that perfection, the attainment of which He has made both our duty and our privilege… for these words in Matt 5.48 include both a command and a promise.

WE live in a moral desert today that calls humans to choose right from wrong a thousand times and more daily! As children of the LORD we are in this life to Grow in the Grace and the Knowledge of the LORD Jesus Christ. 2 Pet 1.3-13: 3.18 …. Perfecting Holiness… in the Fear of God! 2 Cor 7.1: Heb 12.14-15

Illustration 2

Ephes 4. 11-15 gives us a clear-eyed view of the biblical New Testament Church… and all its parts working together as any engine in a car! There are many, many parts that must work in absolute harmony together… to generate any POWER!… and direction! Amen.

Much could be said on this portion of scripture, but suffice to say the Apostle Paul teaches that there are certain ‘equipping gifts’ (v-11) given for the ‘perfecting of the saints… and the individuals work of the ministry! Sadly… in the western world today—individualism is the mind-set! Western minded people do not know how to work together… and words like discipleship, submission, authority, oversight, right-order and being ‘rightly released’ into a ministry… are made out to be ‘dirty words!’

That kind of insolent immaturity is what holds back the corporate church in the West! It could be so great a thing at this time.

But continuing on with Paul’s teaching… speaks of a course that leads all local churches to this ideal of all the members working together as a modern engine does! v-13 “Till WE ALL come in the UNITY of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ!” Sadly, many are not operating up to their ‘level’ of fullness. That is a choice problem… not a knowledge problem. It’s called disobedience.

V-14 drives home the point with “That we henceforth be nor more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the tricks and cunning craftiness of men… whereby they lie in wait to deceive!

V-15 The obedience part >>> “But speaking the Truth in LOVE (righteousness) MAY GROW UP into Him in ALL THINGS!

So we see then, it is a choice to constantly work in harmony with the corporate church… to ‘grow up’ in the corporateness of the Perfect man… up to the measure and stature and fullness of Christ! Saints, we can never achieve this on our own! That mentality runs against the definition of the NT Church! This is the property and privilege of being in a local BODY OF CHRIST! Amen. There are way too many western lone-rangers roaming the plains today! That is that ‘independent spirit!’ That’s why there are so many divorces! People who start out making covenants… willfully violate and break them! Rom 1.31-32

What was covenantally sworn before witnesses never to come apart… comes apart for ‘selfish’ reasons! Marriage is a good shadow of the substance of Christ Jesus and the Church working in respective-submissive-cooperative relationship! Everyday is a choice to make your marriage work! You can’t just put things on ‘Pause!’ It’s the same way with Jesus Christ, the church… and finding yourself cooperating with the One New Man in Christ… to the Fullness and the Stature of OUR King… as His Holy Church Bride of Christ! Ephes 5.32 (21-33) She is a working corporate-bride… like a good engine with all it’s respective parts working in order… and on time!

“The Righteousness of the Perfect = Blameless shall direct his way: but the wicked shall fall by his own wickedness.” PV 11.5

Illustration 3

James the brother of Jesus talks about being perfect also:

“My brethren, count it all joy when you encounter various trials and testing… knowing that the testing of your FAITH produces endurance. But let endurance have its perfect result, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing!”

Back to the process of choice… and faith… and obedience to the Truth! Here, James puts it quite well… and follows up in v-5-6 with mercy for those who are lacking… and says ‘Just ask for Wisdom… and God will give it to you… but, we must ask without any doubting! That’s biblical Faith. As a patient Father, dealing with His children, He will not rebuke us for faithful inquiry.

Oh… may we too, be like our heavenly Father…. that in view of all that Jesus has laid out before us in Matt 5, He closes with: “Therefore—Be Perfect (completely given over to—the cause and commitment of Christ)—even as your Heavenly Father is Perfect.”

Mat 5:48 - how wise and gracious is this, to sum up, and, as it were, seal all his commandments with a promise! Even the proper promise of the Gospel! That he will put those laws in our minds, and write them in our hearts! He well knew how ready our unbelief would be to cry out, this is impossible! And therefore stakes upon it all the power, truth, and faithfulness of Him to whom ALL things are possible.

We cannot expect the reward of Christians, if we rise no higher than the virtue of publicans.” Note, Those who promise themselves a reward above others must study to do more than others.

Our Saviour concludes this subject with this exhortation (Mat_5:48), Be ye therefore perfect, as your Father which is in heaven is perfect. Which may be understood, 1. In general, including all those things wherein we must be followers of God the Father as dear children.

Note, It is the duty of Christians to desire, and aim at, and press toward a perfection in grace and holiness, Phi_3:12-14. And therein we must study to conform ourselves to the example of our heavenly Father, 1Pe_1:15, 1Pe_1:16. Or, 2. In this particular before mentioned, of doing good to our enemies; see Luk_6:36. It is God’s perfection to forgive injuries and to entertain strangers, and to do good to the evil and unthankful, and it will be ours to be like him. We that owe so much, that owe our all, to the divine bounty, ought to copy it out as well as we can. With Jesus, this is not an option. Godliness will always be the rule in the Kingdom of God.

Lastly, Jesus gives us many excellent parables that embrace this principle laid out before us today: The Pearl Merchant… “Who, when he had found one pearl of great price, went and SOLD ALL that he had, and bought it!

The radical Jesus freaks of the 60’s and 70’s had an old saying: “SOLD OUT!” Yes… that is being Perfect like our Father in Heaven! He is sold out for mankind fashioned in HIS own Image and Likeness! (choice, voice and Eternal life). Jesus was SOLD OUT to Die on a cross of the sin of His Bride! The HOLY SPIRIT is SOLD OUT to live within us and lead us into all the Truth… in preparing the Body of Christ to be a sanctified Bride without spot, wrinkle or blemish!

It is our prayer that you will be there with the Corporate Body of Christ

Again… it is our privilege here at FBF Central—to give over the rest of this Pastoral Letter to the FBF TEAM and center based in Kisumu. With over 200 districts in the prefecture of Nyanza Province—including Kisumu>>> they have a HUGE area of ministry to cover! Certainly they need and covet our prayers. Remember… they are standing on the front lines between Uganda and Kenya with many ancient roots that cross daily through these old ‘camel trade routes!’

Kisumu Fellowship worship

Dear Man of God,

Thank you so much for our time together when you visited. Really it was a powerful time which God had a fresh visits on us here in Kenya the city of Kisumu. No one could imagine that just hosting our beloved brother could ever bring God’s powerful move of God, anointing in the preaching of the gospel of Christ and challenges in the deep and enrooted word of God full of revelation and insight.

News about the mission

It all started when our brother Robert visited us in a planned Feb. mission where we arranged to have him and his ministry which got in to the lives of our church leaders from the lessons we download from the internet and mail monthly Pastoral Letters he sends. This also came as a result of meeting Brother Robert in a leader’s seminar over two years ago when he first introduced the message of the Kingdom which some leaders never liked because it was not going or dancing toward their tune! This was the special time he ministered to my soul and i welcomed all these as a clear direction to where God wants me and our people to follow and hence forth our hearts were knitted together and became in touch. The man of God brother Robert introduce me to his materials of lessons which i found them very very fruitful and could not only help built me alone spiritually but also to share it to other leaders who would be interested. When i introduced it to the leaders it became an eye opener due to it’s strange but Biblical teaching i distributed it as many as possible and this motivated our leaders to admire these trainings so that they can receive. Those who had less background of biblical and spiritual training had the advantage of surfing immediately invaded the internet till God granted our brother Robert to come and witness what God was doing amongst us here in Kisumu through His lessons.

When our brother landed here in Kisumu to be with us and to share with us FBF MISSION, we were full of expectation and got a team of young adults who are vigorous to preach, and together we extended the kingdom of God to the lost and pagans! it was very much powerful! We welcomed our Brother Robert on the evening of 21th Feb 2009 from Bungoma where we took him to the place of rest in preparation to starting the new next day with freshness.

Reaching out to the lost pagan to know Christ.

On 22st Feb 2009 in the morning this was the day we fellowshipped at the church service of Nyawita Church from 10am till 1pm for Sunday service. Our beloved brother Robert got the chance to minister and share with the fellow believers in the church. It was a wonderful start and God used Brother Robert to minister on God’s process of setting us under the furnace of fire, to refine us, using the example as Saul to Paul. God’s power was present and after the preaching people requested that he may pray for them and sickness, problems all left them and they were built up spiritually!

The church is situated around the city slums within Kisumu City taking a bus at the cost of KSHS.20 or a taxi at the cost of KSHS.200from the City bus park or City centre to Kondele Nyawita Market.

In the afternoon of the same Sunday service after blessing that church we went with Brother Robert to meeting with few church leaders who were part of group were going to preach with in the open and market places outreaches. This was within Kisumu but 7kms away from the city centre. We reach there and found the leaders who were young and energetic ripe to spread the gospel of Christ to the lost pagans. The challenge we received together was how our brother and man of God Robert was conveying the message of Christ which completely different from the religious set up, gathering a lot of resources and building big platforms for the gospel and lining beautiful ladies to attract people and this is what have messed up the body of Christ which is the Church. The message of Christ is preached and the conviction follows it This is our work. It is not our job to be worried about how to impress people and pull them in a large crowd to us. The teaching which lasted for 4hours from 2pm left leaders equipped and more prepared for the outreach of the following day. The fellowship was full of impact and was very much loved since no one wanted our brother Robert to cut the teachings short– we were really blessed!

On 23rd Feb 2009 in the morning of Monday was the day for our first outreach all our team for outreach came together at pastor James’ house where we began our safari (journey) for the outreach gospel. We were led by the spirit to choose one of the busiest and biggest markets in Kisumu City and this one was Kondele, Kondele is a very much known place in Kenya due to its worst hit with post election violence’s. During the skirmishes people died in this market place and police officers were conducting the extrajudicial killings by using live bullets on people which a number of them were shooting astray due to the situation which was out of control over last year.

When we arrive there our brother Robert spearheaded and made the first preaching and really it was powerful people were coming closer to hear and see what was happening. It was so much challenging when we were carrying a banner, wearing written trust Jesus as this alone convicted people and pagans responded to us by asking us questions committing their lives to Christ by asking Christ to enter into their lives!

It was amazing in the market places and after the brother Robert, then i took the bull-horn to preach to the people and the interesting part of it as well was that whenever people had the voice from the horn sound the look around the first thing to stare at was the banner and follow the direction at which the banner is or move whenever we more until they reaches us. We took more than 6 hours in the morning outreach and then got a break for 1hour lunch. But by the time we finished the first mission with our mobile preaching we had covered the whole surroundings of the market and many people were reached. Personally I know of 17 in number that received Christ in their hearts and committed to begin a new life and walk with Christ, 22 were healed and more than 500 were reached by the gospel and were convicted others could wave to us while in the buses as we tell them that the need Jesus in to their lives while others cried loudly and the spirit of God convicted their hearts. We saw the hand of God being extended to the once lost and they could weep as the spirit was releasing their hearts to be free from all the guilt! thank you.

After finishing the first mission we took a road walk proclaiming Christ by the side of the road along KCB Highway, Kona Legion (occult dominance area) Forem Junction Market, Carwash stage market and different kinds of groups were inviting us to pray for the sick and the oppressed. We did that as we walked about 2kms for our lunch.

The afternoon after having our lunch we went to Nyawita Market which was a small market near Nyawita church. We had a powerful moment of ministering and about 5 committed their lives to Christ and all these were young girls and boys the enemy capture them to destroy their lives but God came in rescue of their lives and they entered into the fellowship of brethrens.

Then finally we ended that day by going and gathering in the church building to worship and give God glory for what He had done, we worshipped, danced and asked our dear brother Robert to speak to us which he did and after that we worshipped God again and His powerful touch was really manifested in our midst and everybody’s prayer was prayed in the presence of the Father.

On 24th Feb 2009 Tuesday was another special day we had in the morning leaders’ seminar which brought together different church denominations of 25 church networks which started at 10am and ended at 2pm. Leaders from each church sanctuary represented a team of their representative. This was another powerful time and encounter with God where God’s mystery was revealed and the leaders received the unusual in-depth of the word so much amazing. These were the leaders and the churches i had distributed the teaching of our dear brother Robert the FBF Mission. It brought a new insight and leaders realized that much had not been revealed and were still shallow in the word. So FBF came at the right time to make Christ be known in His fullness to us as leaders. This was evident when Robert when asked a number of questions but no one was able to understand better i.e. ‘’why did Jesus came to live and die for us here in the world’ this was a simple quiz but no one got it right.

On that day our brother based his teachings on the message of ‘’the Kingdom’’ it was a passionate message and full of the power of God as we were following the message keenly everyone admired the teachings they have been getting it’s glimpse from the mail materials I’ve been sent through email and internet by FBF Mission and distribute to them. This was the time the leaders realised and understood the vision of FBF and really admired to be part of it and spread it even more to all corners of Kisumu, Nyanza province and beyond. They partook the better part of it when Brother Robert promised to take their contact to be sending them directly the monthly teaching materials which will be of great input to their various ministries about 110 leaders attended the FBF Mission seminar.

After the leaders seminar which ended at 2p we rushed to another bigger and busier Market called Mambo Leo Market. The preaching was started by Brother Robert then followed by the rest of the team we saw God’s mighty hand coming down to save the lost. People heard the word of came close to us and as a team we worked together to reach, hear from them, counsel where possible and then prayed for them. They felt convicted and some were shedding tears as the cried to God to forgive them their sins and cleanse them once again from all unrighteousness.

I remember another man who heard us preaching and came nearby Brother Robert weeping and praying that he had been convicted of his guilts which were ungodly before God and men. He was an angry man, very rude to his family and when he heard the word he felt short before the glory of the almighty God. He was prayed for and to his family, and God healed and restored his family back to normal amen. Women also prayed to God to restore their family and to get right in to the relationship with Christ. This was a powerful event and really our Almighty father was presence and manifested amen. The mission ended by 5:30pm and we took the centre stage to walk with those who heard the word and were willing to have sometimes with us and we were walking back to the house which was 2kms away from where were preaching.

We came back home as a team and feasted with fresh Victoria lake Tilapia fish as a good farewell with our brother Robert who was going back to America on the 25th Wednesday early in the morning. We all (my wife Alice, and 3 other pastors) woke up at 5pm on the 25th Feb 2009 and took the brother to Kisumu Airport where he took his plane at 8:30am and left.

The passionate love could not allow us to leave each other… so we all stayed and watched the plane take off. And that was the end of our first ever mission encounter with FBF, which was passionate and after catching on the fire we now carry on with it and see God’s move and conviction upon the hearts of people.

Since that time we have seen God continue to move in the lives of the lost as we have had outreach in three consecutive weekends of 27th Feb to 1st of March 2009 and 6th to 8th of March 2009 at Seme and Maseno other districts of Nyanza North East of Kisumu direction about 40miles from Kisumu East district. Our last mission was done last week at Kibos area part of Kisumu where we saw a need to reach this place because of it rich roots of Islamic dominance. It is a place where pre colonial Arab traders were settling when they came to do barter trade and slave trades majority intermingled with Arab traders and gave birth to children who were nurtured purely Muslims called ‘’Nubians’’ and it had a strong influence in this area. During our last weekend mission we had a stiff opposition but the better part of it was that we were welcomed by children which was great and gave glory back to God. We got time to challenge them with the word of God and they promised to share a word with their parents which fulfil our mission that they heard the God’s Holy word and saw our banner which is leading to a process of conviction amen.

For these last outreach we have had we have seen success in taking bold step to be able to reach people out there. It’s really a calling and yield fruits since people who were not able to be accessed openly or approached by individual gets the chance to be reached and have a personal relationship with Christ through the Open-Air Proclamation and reading a banner and understanding what it means ad getting convicted to the word of God or hearing the message of Christ and drawing closer to us and getting the right teaching of the message of Christ and being convicted of their sins and leading them to repent. This mission reached people easily and better than arranging a big tent meeting and making fancy things to pull the crowd! The Open-Air Proclamation really worked and reached people as many as possible according to time and strength given by God both in our city and rural areas. Pastors recommended it the best to reach out and build up spiritually. We truly appreciate the mission and foundations of FBF leadership, and we are ready for our next mission together.

For now, we have been carrying on with what we have both learned and have been given. During the past month, we have covered these towns with the Gospel of the Kingdom:

Prayer Closet: Feel free to send us your prayer cares:

The Intercessory Team is on their knees daily for the Church Family

Bro Stanley and Sister Celestine (35) just mis-carried… it was rough. She had to have surgery and is very delicate now. More—she went back into the hospital 2 days and just released this week.

Continued prayer for Bro David’s family… A good and faithful minister who was murdered by thugs for $256… his children’s school tuition.

Many pastors beginning to see that prosperity gospel is not of Jesus. That they might repent—and preach the FREE Gift of Christ!

A mother and daughter who, being threatened with physical harm from their un-converted angry father-husband, had to move.

Bro James and Alice expecting ‘very soon’ their 2nd child.

Christians to get all the way out of debt. Deut 28.44; Rom 13.8

For the 2nd soon advent of Jesus Christ… to end sin in this world, once and for all. Amen.
